Our office for Profami Web Services is inside House No 1009 in Block E of Saraswati Vihar. Since we are in Pitampura, it’s a residential-feeling area but with plenty of businesses tucked away in the houses. We do web services, which covers a lot of ground from building sites to fixing things that break online. Being in a house instead of a glass building makes the work day feel a bit more relaxed. We don't have a giant sign outside or a lobby with a security guard. You just come to the gate and find us. The workspace is filled with computers and cables, which is pretty much what you’d expect for a web company. We started this because we liked working on the internet and realized we could make a living out of it right here. Some days are quieter than others, especially when we are deep into coding or fixing some server error. We usually order lunch from the local shops nearby. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi, just a reliable one that people in the neighborhood and beyond can talk to. The internet is a big place, but we keep our corner of it pretty simple and focused. It feels more personal this way and we get to know our clients well.
