Pramanand Hospital

You can find Pramanand Hospital over in the Civil Line area. We are very close to the Metro Hospital, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being in Civil Line means we are in a part of the city that has some history. The roads are a bit wider here than in the old town. I usually take the bus or the metro to get in. It is a short walk from the station. The hospital itself is a straightforward building. We have been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are clean. Inside, it smells like antiseptic and floor cleaner most of the time. We have a waiting area that gets quite full in the mornings. I like to watch the people passing by outside the main gate. There are always street vendors selling snacks or tea nearby. The staff is a mix of young and old people. We get along well enough. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting at once, and it gets a bit loud, but we manage. The furniture is mostly metal and plastic because it is easier to keep clean. We do not have a fancy lobby with fountains or anything like that. It is just a place for people to come when they are not feeling well. We do our work and keep the files in order.
