Ms Prints Media India is down in the basement of the LIC Building. We are very close to the Adarsh Nagar Metro Station in Azadpur. Being in a basement means it’s always a bit dim and smells like ink and paper. We have the big printing machines running most of the time, and they make a lot of noise. You can feel the vibration when you’re standing near them. It’s a busy place with people coming in to get things printed or to pick up orders. Since we are near the metro, it’s easy for us to get to work, but the area is always packed with people and traffic. Azadpur is famous for the market, so there’s always something going on. Our office is B-1, and it’s a bit of a squeeze with all the paper rolls and the cutting machines. We don't have much of a decor, just some samples of work we’ve done taped to the walls. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn't the best, but we like it here. Most of us have been working in printing for a long time. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. People just know we are here in the basement. We stay busy with the local shops and businesses that need flyers or cards. It’s just a regular print shop life and we try to keep the machines from jamming up too often. The basement stays relatively cool even when it is boiling hot outside.
