We set up our shop at K 132 in Rithala a few years back. It’s a bit of a mix here, part workshop and part office space. We mostly look at mechanical designs and how different things fit together for small machines. It’s not a huge place, just a room with some computers and another area where we can put things together to see if they actually work. Rithala is a busy area, but our specific lane stays relatively quiet compared to the main road outside. I spend a lot of time looking at drawings and then trying to figure out why a part isn’t fitting right during the assembly. It’s a lot of trial and error and scratching your head. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who enjoy figuring out how things tick. The shelves are usually covered in bits of wire, plastic prototypes, and various hand tools. It looks a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we have our own way of finding things when we need them. We aren't really into the corporate lifestyle or wearing suits. We prefer wearing jeans and getting our hands on the actual projects we are building. Most of our work is for local small businesses that need a specific part or a simple design fixed up. It’s a steady pace of work. We just take one project at a time and try to get it right before moving on.
