Maheshwari Hospital

This hospital is tucked right beside the HDFC Bank here in Pitampura, in the F 1 U /41 block. It is quite easy to find if you know where the Income Tax Colony is, since we are just a short walk from those buildings. The structure has been here for a while and shows some age, but it stays clean enough for the work we do every day. In the mornings, the street outside gets pretty loud with people heading to the bank or commuting to work. We usually have the front doors open early to let some fresh air in before the afternoon heat starts. Inside, the floors are that standard hospital tile that makes a clicking sound whenever anyone walks by in hard shoes. We have several different wards and the layout can be a bit confusing for new visitors who get lost looking for the right room. The nurses usually keep a small stash of snacks in the back room for their short breaks. There is a lot of back and forth between the reception desk and the patient rooms. Sometimes the paperwork piles up and we have to spend the late afternoon just sorting through various files and folders. It is a busy atmosphere most days, especially when the weather changes and everyone seems to come down with a cough or cold. We know many of the faces from the nearby colony because they have been coming here for a long time.
