We are located at 157/2023 in Tri Nagar, which is where KHOKHAR ELECTRICALS PVT. LTD. has been for quite some time. It is a pretty crowded and lively part of the city. There’s always someone shouting or a rickshaw honking right outside our door. Inside, it’s a different story, mostly filled with electrical supplies, coils of wire, and switchgear. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be smart about how we stack the inventory. Most of our day is spent helping people who walk in looking for specific parts for their buildings or shops. We don't do the big fancy sales pitches you see on TV. We just tell people what we have in stock and what might work better for their situation. Sometimes the electricity in the area flickers, which is a bit ironic considering what we sell, but we just get the flashlights out and keep going. The staff here is just a few local guys who know their way around a fuse box. We eat our lunch together in the back among the boxes of light bulbs. It’s a local business through and through. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. We just open the shop in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the first customer to arrive. It’s been our routine for a long time.
