Hindu Rao Hospital

Being out here at the Village Rasulpur location near the Post Office in Rani Khera feels a bit different than being in the middle of the city. Hindu Rao Hospital has this presence even out in the quieter parts like this. It’s a bit of a journey for some of us to get here, but it’s a nice change of pace from the crowded streets of central Delhi. You can still see a lot of open ground and the air feels a little bit different. The building is simple and doesn't stand out too much, but the locals all know where the Rani Khera post office is, so they find us easily enough. We deal with a lot of people from the nearby villages who don't want to travel all the way into the city. It’s a more relaxed atmosphere here, I think. We spend our time checking in on people and making sure the supplies are handled right. There isn't a lot of noise, except for the occasional tractor or bus passing by on the main road. It’s a practical setup, very basic but it works for what we need. We just open up early, do our bit for the day, and then head home when the sun starts to go down. It feels like we are part of the local community here in Rasulpur.
