Gill Kheti Sewa Center

Gill Kheti Sewa Center is over in the Wazirpur Industrial Area at A-120. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving through the narrow lanes. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The shop floor is always a bit dusty because of the nature of the work, but we try to keep things organized. Usually, the morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what needs fixing for the people who stop by. We deal with a lot of local folks who come in looking for help with their machinery or farming needs. It is a lot of manual work, getting your hands dirty and figuring out why a part isn't fitting right. There is a small desk in the back where the accounts get done, though the ledger usually has a few grease fingerprints on the pages. Lunch is usually brought from home in steel boxes, and we all sit together in the small area near the entrance. The tea stall guy across the road knows exactly how much sugar we like in our cups. It is a simple life here. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person to talk to people. Most people find us because they know someone else who came here before. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the jobs done before the sun goes down.
