Yashika Bags

Yashika Bags is located at J-1/43- A in Budh Vihar Phase- 1. It’s more of a home-based setup or a small workshop rather than a big factory. We have sewing machines set up in the main room. There is always the sound of needles clicking and fabric being cut. We make various types of bags, from simple ones to more sturdy ones for carrying things. The space is a bit cramped because of all the rolls of material and the finished bags waiting to be sent out. We live and work in the same general area, so there isn't much of a commute. Budh Vihar is a crowded neighborhood, and our street is usually full of kids playing or people walking to the market. We started this because we knew how to sew and wanted to stay busy. Sometimes we get custom requests from people nearby. It’s mostly just us working through the day, trying to finish the batches on time. The lighting could be better, but we have a few good lamps over the machines. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. We don't have a storefront, just this small working space where we do everything from cutting to final packing.
