Our place is out in Narela, at F-1778 in the DSIDC Industrial Area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s a long trek, but the space is good for what we do. Br Polytech (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for a good bit. We work with polymers and tech stuff, mostly handling the raw materials and the processing machines. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scraps from the day’s run. It’s a noisy environment, but you get used to it after a week. Narela is quite different from the main city; it feels more spread out but still very busy with trucks moving everywhere. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone. We usually have lunch together in the small break area. Nothing special, just home-cooked food brought in dabbas. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard. We keep the fans running full blast. Sometimes the power cuts out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s part of the job here. We just focus on getting the batches finished on time. There’s always someone checking the work or moving bags around the warehouse. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with the office décor, just trying to keep the production moving.
