Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital

Our spot on Guru Harikishan Marg in Pitampura is pretty easy to find if you know this side of Delhi well. Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital has been sitting right here for years now. The traffic outside can get really loud with all the horns and buses going by, but once you step inside, the atmosphere changes quite a bit. We have a lot of locals who walk over from the nearby apartment blocks because it’s convenient for them. The floors are white tile and we spend a lot of time mopping them because of all the foot traffic coming in from the street. It’s not a shiny corporate office or anything like that; it’s just a regular hospital where we try to keep things organized. The registration desk is right at the front and usually has a stack of patient files that never seems to get any smaller. We have a few wooden benches that have been there since the day we opened. Sometimes they creak a little when people sit down. Our staff mostly lives in the surrounding area, so we all know the shortcuts to get to work on time. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows and makes the lobby quite bright, so we usually keep the curtains half-drawn to keep it cool. It’s a place of daily routine. Doctors come in, nurses check the charts, and we manage the flow of people coming for their checkups without much fuss.
