Basil Surgical Instruments

Libas Pur is very industrial and you can hear the sound of machines and hammers from the moment you arrive. Our workshop is at 28/31 on Street No. 16. It is not the kind of place where you would wear a suit. We wear clothes that we can get a bit of grease or dust on because that is just the nature of the job at Basil Surgical Instruments. We deal with a lot of metal tools and instruments, so there is always a bit of a clatter in the background. The space is filled with benches and high shelves. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the edges and the finish on the steel. It requires a lot of sitting and looking closely at things. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The street outside can get quite dusty with all the trucks, so we keep the doors mostly closed. There is a small cat that sleeps near the back entrance and we make sure she gets fed every day. It is a simple life here. We start work when the sun comes up and we head out when the street lights start flickering. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on getting the instruments right.
