About Aradhana Academy Of Art – Art & Craft in North West Delhi
Aradhana Academy Of Art is tucked away in Rohini Pocket No 21, specifically at Sector 24 137. If you walk past, you can usually smell the paint or see some of the sketches leaning against the walls. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many supplies stacked up. There are jars of brushes, half-used tubes of color, and stacks of paper everywhere. We tried to organize it once but it just went back to being a mess of creative stuff within a few days. The light comes in okay through the windows in the morning, which is when most of the sketching happens. We have students of all ages coming through. Some are just kids who want to draw trees and houses, and others are adults who take it a bit more seriously. There isn't a lot of standing room when a full class is in session. We use old wooden chairs that creak a little when you sit down. The floor has some permanent stains from spilled ink, but that’s just how an art place ends up looking after a while. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum while we work. It’s a quiet enough pocket of Rohini most of the time. We just focus on the work on the easels and let the day go by. Sometimes we display a few pieces on the walls just to see how they look.
