Metal One

We are over on Ichapur Road, right near the big Jal Tanki. If you see the water tank, you’re pretty much at Metal One. It’s a basic workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours messing around with different kinds of metal. The floor is usually covered in scrap and shavings because we don't always get around to sweeping until the end of the week. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just our name on the wall. We handle a lot of random jobs that come in from the local area. One day it’s a gate that needs fixing, the next day it’s someone wanting a frame built for a shop. It stays pretty humid in here, especially during the rains, but we keep the machines running anyway. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just a steady one that stays open when people need us. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops and everyone kind of looks out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside by the road until it comes back on. It’s not a polished operation, but we know where every tool is kept even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. Most of our regulars just walk in and start explaining what they need without any formal paperwork or long meetings to slow everything down.
