Our place is over at 244 Moulik Villa in the Majherpara area of Ichapur. We are in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is an old house that we have used for our forge and casting operations for quite some time. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small industrial units, so the sound of hammers or machinery is pretty common around here. Inside the villa, we have our office rooms where we keep all the records and handle the orders. It gets incredibly hot in the forge area, especially during the summer and the monsoon season when the humidity is high. We all wear simple clothes and just focus on the task at hand. There is nothing fancy about our setup; it is all about the metal and the work. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a cycle to the office every morning. We often have tea together and discuss what needs to be shipped out that day. We don't use any big marketing words because everyone around here already knows who we are and what we do. It is a very traditional way of working, where people know their jobs and just get on with them. The villa has seen better days, but it is a sturdy place that serves us well. We just try to keep the furnaces running and the paperwork in order.
