Maa Tara Engineering Works

You’ll find Maa Tara Engineering Works over on Canal Side Road in Ichapur. We are right by the big water tank, so we’re hard to miss if you’re in the neighborhood. Our workshop is where we do all kinds of mechanical work and metal fabrication. It’s a practical place, filled with tools, welding machines, and spare parts scattered around the benches. We’ve been operating here for a good while, helping out with repairs for machinery or making custom parts when someone can’t find a replacement. The sound of the canal is usually in the background while we work. It’s a simple business; we don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know our way around a lathe or a welding torch. We just aim to get the job done correctly so people can get back to their own work. Often, we’re busy fixing something that broke down unexpectedly, so our schedule changes from day to day. We don’t have a big reception area, so most people just walk right into the shop to talk to us about what they need. It’s a bit messy with metal shavings and oil here and there, but that’s a real workshop for you. Ichapur is a good place to be, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the other shop owners and residents over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines and the metal.
