Hydrofab Engineering Concern

Hydrofab Engineering Concern is located over in Dharsa, specifically at Vivek Villa near the Govt. of India Press in the GIP Colony. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because of the history around the press area. We do a lot of heavy work here, mostly focusing on engineering things that most people don’t think about until they break. The workshop is always humming with some kind of activity. We’ve got machines that have been with us for years, and they still run better than some of the newer stuff. Being in the GIP Colony means we see a lot of the same faces every day. It feels more like a neighborhood than just an industrial zone. We spend a lot of time measuring things, cutting metal, and figuring out how to fix a hydraulic part that’s seen better days. It isn’t always clean work, and the floors get dusty, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery gets delayed, which can be frustrating, but we just work around it. My desk is usually covered in drawings and old invoices. We don't have a big corporate office or a receptionist. If you come by Dharsa to find us, you’ll usually find us in the middle of a project, probably wearing work clothes that have seen a lot of use. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of jobs we have for the week.
