Unique Engineering Works

Unique Engineering Works is located at H.No. 1268 in Sonarvaddo Raia. This is down in Salcete, so it’s a bit more of a quiet, residential-feeling area compared to the big industrial zones you see elsewhere. We run the engineering works out of this property. It’s a bit of a mix between a house and a workshop for us. We have various tools and lathes set up in the back part of the building where we do the work. You can hear the sound of grinding and welding if you walk past the gate during the day. Sometimes the neighbor’s dogs bark at the delivery vans when they pull up. We do all sorts of repair jobs and custom metal work for the locals who know us. It’s not a big factory; it’s more of a family-run type of place. We’ve lived and worked at H.No. 1268 for many years now. Unique Engineering Works is basically just our daily life and how we spend our time. The porch is where we sit to take a break when the machines are cooling down or when it's lunchtime. We don't have fancy signage, just a simple board so people know they have the right house in Sonarvaddo Raia. It’s an honest way to earn a living. Sometimes we run out of materials and have to wait for the truck from the city to arrive with supplies. We just take things as they come and get the jobs finished.
