Mahamaya Dental Clinics

You can find our dental clinic on the first floor of Om Chambers, specifically in Shop No 6. We are right near the Laxmi Narayan Temple in Mapusa, which is a very busy and noisy part of town. There’s almost always music or the sound of bells coming from the temple nearby, and the streets are usually packed with people shopping or going to pray. Getting up to the first floor is easy enough for most, and once you’re inside, it’s a little bit quieter than the busy street below. We’ve got the dental chairs set up near the windows. The space isn’t huge by any means, but it works well for what we need to do. People come in from the market nearby, often popping in just to ask a quick question before they head back home. We spend a lot of time looking at teeth and talking to patients about their daily habits. The building is an older style, which is pretty typical for this part of Mapusa. It has that lived-in, slightly worn feel to it. We don’t have a fancy reception area with coffee machines or anything like that; it’s just a desk and some chairs. Being so near the temple makes it very easy to give people directions. We see everyone from local shopkeepers to tourists who happen to be in the area. It’s a busy, sometimes cramped, but very real part of daily life.
