You can find us right by the Umyachi Mall in Bicholim. Our office is at House Number 2355/3. It’s a busy little area, and being near the landmark makes it easy to tell people where we are. Mahagoa Agrotech is mostly about trying to get some better tools and methods into the hands of local farmers. We call it "agrotech" because we deal with machines and some of the newer ways of planting, but at the end of the day, we’re still just dealing with dirt and weather. The office is a bit crowded with different parts and bits of equipment we’re testing out. It isn't very organized, to be honest. There’s always a piece of some machine on a desk or a pile of manuals that nobody has time to read. We spend a lot of time out in North Goa visiting different farms to see how things are going. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of a hot afternoon, and we just have to sit outside and wait for it to come back. We aren't a big city firm with fancy suits. Most of the time we’ve got mud on our boots. We just think there’s a better way to do things than the way our grandfathers did it, even if it’s a struggle to get the tech working right sometimes. It’s a lot of trial and error and honest work.
