Glenmark Generics Ltd

This is the spot for Glenmark Generics Ltd over in Colvale, Goa. I work as a Junior Quality Control Officer here, and most of my day is spent in the lab or checking on the batches. I actually live over in Unity Village in Karaswada, Mapusa, so I have a bit of a commute every morning to get to the plant. The building in Colvale is quite large compared to a regular office, as it has to house all the equipment for testing the medicines. It’s a very practical environment. We wear our white coats and spend hours looking at charts and samples. There’s a lot of focus on the technical side of things, but we talk like regular people when we are on our breaks. The canteen is where most of us catch up. The air is often thick with the smell of the nearby industrial estate, but we are used to it. When I go home to Unity Village, it’s a lot quieter and greener. Working in quality control means we have to be careful with the details, but the atmosphere isn't stiff. We joke around while we wait for the machines to finish their cycles. The furniture is all metal and plastic, built to last and easy to clean. It’s a job that keeps us busy, especially when there are new batches to approve. We just focus on the science and the daily tasks without making a big deal out of it.
