Curves Showroom

If you are walking around Calangute, you might have seen us at Shop No 6. We are tucked inside Sri Nichaldas Arcade over in Gaurawaddo. It’s right across from the Tamath Holiday Homes, which is a good landmark if you're lost. Being in Calangute means there are always tourists walking by in flip-flops. At Curves Showroom, we try to keep things simple. The shop isn't massive, but we fit a lot in there. Most mornings start with us sweeping the front and getting the hangers straight. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan going. People pop in on their way to the beach or after getting breakfast nearby. Sometimes we just sit and watch the bikes go past on the main road. It's a busy area, especially during the season. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. We know the neighbors and the guys running the guest houses across the street. We don't really do the big flashy signs. Just a regular storefront where you can browse what we have on the racks. The lighting inside is okay, not perfect, but you can see the colors well enough. Sometimes we have a chat with people who are just escaping the sun for a few minutes. It’s a relaxed place to work. We close up when it gets late, usually after the dinner crowd starts heading out. It's just a small shop doing its thing in Goa. It is a bit dusty sometimes but that is just life near the coast.
