Verma Patanjali Saree Center is located at D-713, in Galli No-7 of Ashok Nagar-Mandoli. If you’re looking for us, you have to come down the street and look for the sign near the corner. It’s a traditional saree shop, the kind you find in many neighborhoods around here. We have stacks of sarees everywhere, from the floor to the ceiling. It’s not a fancy mall store with air conditioning and mirrors everywhere. It’s just a local shop where we know most of our customers by their faces. My family has been running this for a while, and we just like being part of the Ashok Nagar community. We don't do any big promotions or online sales. People just walk in, sit down on the floor cushions, and we show them what we have in stock. It’s a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who live nearby. Sometimes the lane gets very crowded with bikes and people, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through. We just open up the shutters every morning and see who comes by. We don't make any grand claims about being the biggest or anything. We just have a good variety of sarees and we try to be helpful. It’s a simple business and we’re happy to keep it that way for as long as we can, serving our local folks.
