Oikos Paints

Our shop is located in Yamuna Vihar, Delhi. We are on the first floor of C-5/44. If you know the area, it’s a fairly busy part of North East Delhi. Oikos Paints has been operating from this floor for a good bit now. It’s not a huge retail store with big displays; it’s more of a place where we manage orders and keep track of our stock. You’ll see plenty of paint cans and color charts scattered around the place. The first floor is okay, though carrying heavy tins up and down can be a bit of a workout. We get a lot of local painters and homeowners stopping by to ask about different finishes. The walls in here have a few patches of different colors where we’ve tested things out ourselves. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s what happens when you work with paint every day. The street outside is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell paint and give people advice on what might work for their walls. It’s a simple business. We open up in the morning, check our lists, and start the day. There’s a tea shop right downstairs that we visit way too often. It’s a very local, neighborhood kind of feel. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain. We just like what we do and we’ve been doing it here for a while.
