We are located on Street No 10 in Sudamapuri, which is in the Gawri area of Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how tight these streets can be. Our place is at C44/149, and it’s usually quite easy to find because you can smell the paint and see the tins stacked up near the entrance. It is a busy little spot. We spend the whole day moving cans of paint around, mixing colors, and loading things onto small carts or cycles to get them out to the main road. The office part of it is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and take orders. It gets very dusty and there are paint splashes on almost everything, including the chairs and the floor. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't have any fancy showroom displays; we just show people the color charts and the stock we have on hand. The heat in Delhi during the summer makes the warehouse area quite hot, so we try to get the heavy work done early. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of all the different shades and types of paint. We have a few guys who have been here for years and they know exactly where every tin is kept. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, just working with our hands and making sure the orders are ready for pick up.
