M T Engineering is tucked away at 163 Jaffrabad, specifically in Gali Number 9. If you know Jaffrabad, you know the lanes can be pretty narrow and there’s always a lot going on. Our workshop is right in the thick of it. It’s a place where there is always the smell of grease and the sound of metal hitting metal. We do a lot of manual engineering work here. It’s not the kind of place where you want to wear your best clothes because you’re definitely going to get some dirt on them. We’ve got a couple of old machines that have been with us forever, and they still work better than some of the new stuff. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-job, and we might have to finish what we’re doing before we can chat. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but satisfied. We’ve been in this gali for a long time, and we know all the neighbors. Sometimes we help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra pair of hands. We aren't looking to become some massive factory. We like the scale we’re at because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. There’s no fancy talk here, just figuring out how to make something work or fix something that’s broken. It’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it for a long time now. We just work.
