Kapil Bartan Store

Kapil Bartan Store is right here in Khajuri Khas Wazirabad. We have shelves full of stainless steel pots, pans, and all kinds of kitchen stuff people use every day. It’s a bit crowded inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You’ll find spoons, tiffins, and heavy cookers stacked up. People from the neighborhood stop by when they are setting up a new kitchen or if a handle on their old pot finally snaps off. We’ve been in this spot for years and seen the street change quite a bit. It’s a local shop, nothing fancy. Sometimes we spend half the morning just rearranging the stacks so people can walk through the aisle. Dust gets on the steel pretty fast, so we are always wiping things down with a cloth. It is nice talking to the regulars who come in. They usually know exactly what they want, but sometimes they ask which brand of tawa lasts longer. We just tell them what we’ve seen over the years. Khajuri Khas is a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for dinner. We keep the lights on late most days. It’s just a simple business selling things that every home needs. Nothing more to it than that. We open early and stay until the street quietens down. If you need a new bucket or a frying pan, we're usually around.
