Jyotish Maharaj

Jyotish Maharaj is our little place on Street Number 8 in Shahdara. The exact number is 1223200, though it’s easier to just look for us once you get onto the street. Shahdara is a crowded, busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We have some chairs, a desk, and the tools of our trade. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we don't mind much. We aren't here to look pretty; we're here to work. People from the neighborhood drop by often, sometimes just to say hello or ask a quick question. We like that community feeling. There’s no big boss or corporate office telling us what to do. It’s just us running the show. We keep our hours fairly regular, though sometimes we stay a bit later if things are busy. The street can be quite narrow, so it’s better to walk if you can. We’ve seen kids grow up on this street while we’ve been working here. It’s just a normal, everyday business. We don't have any big slogans or promises. We just do what we do and hope it helps. It’s a simple way to live and work in a place like Shahdara. We just stay busy and keep going day by day.
