G-Tech Computers is tucked away in Gali No. 11 in Ashok Nagar. If you know where the Tuesday Market happens, we are right near that area at C- 225/9. The shop is usually full of wires, monitors, and half-opened towers. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time fixing laptops that have slowed down or desktops that won't turn on. People from around Ashok Nagar bring their machines in when they have problems. We aren't a big service center, just a local shop. On Tuesdays, the street gets really crowded because of the market, so it’s harder to get to us then. We’ve been working on computers for years. Technology changes fast, but the basic problems stay the same. Power supplies fail, or software gets stuck. We just take it apart and see what’s wrong. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We have some spare parts sitting in boxes under the counter. Sometimes we have to wait a couple of days for a specific part to arrive. We just give people a call when it's ready. It’s mostly word of mouth that brings people in. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the name on the door. It’s a small operation, but we like it that way. We stay until the last job is done for the day, usually past seven or eight.
