Our place is on Pusta Main Road in Kartar Nagar, right near Neeraj Tent House. The house number is J 671 C 3 1 2, which sounds like a lot, but it is easy to find once you are on the main road. We deal with equity trading here. It is a lot of looking at screens and watching how the numbers move up and down all day. The office is usually a bit frantic during market hours, with phones ringing and people talking fast. It is not a shiny corporate office in the middle of a business park; it’s a practical space in a real neighborhood. Delhi is loud and the 110053 area is no different. We have a few computers and some very tired-looking chairs. Trading can be a bit stressful, so we take our breaks when we can, usually just grabbing a snack from the local stalls. We don’t have any slick marketing materials or people in suits giving presentations. We just do our trades and keep track of the accounts. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have a bit of a panic, but that is just how it goes. We’ve been here in this spot for a while and the people around here know us as the ones always staring at monitors. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes. We don’t make any big promises, we just do the job and head home when the markets close.
