Wadhwa Trader

Working out of Kashmere Gate means things are always loud and crowded. Wadhwa Trader is located right on Nicholson Road, specifically at Plot No. 1413/40 in the Chabi Ganj area. It is a tight squeeze sometimes with all the carts and people moving through the G N C T Market. We have been here for years, and you get used to the noise of the traffic and the shouting from the nearby stalls. Our shop is packed with stock from the floor all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually know where everything is tucked away in the back corners. This market has a life of its own. We open up early, drink some tea, and start the day. It is not a quiet office job by any means. There is always someone stopping by to ask a price or just to say hello while they are passing through the lane. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but it works for us. We do not have a website that does much; most people just show up or call the old landline. It is the kind of place where business is done with a handshake and a lot of patience. When the sun goes down, we pack up the displays and head home, ready to do it all again.
