V.K.Mehta & Co. is right in Kamla Nagar at A-102. It is a very busy part of Delhi, especially with the shops and the college students everywhere. Our office is a bit of a refuge from all that noise outside. We are located in one of the older buildings, so the ceilings are high and the walls are thick. Inside, you will find us surrounded by stacks of tax books and audit reports. We have been doing this for a long time, and the office hasn't changed much over the years. We have some wooden desks and chairs that are quite sturdy. Every morning we come in, open up the windows to let some air in, and start going through the mail and the emails. It is a lot of slow, careful work. We don't use much fancy technology, just the standard computers and some old software that we are used to. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several clients arrive at once to drop off their ledger books. We usually offer them a seat and some water while we finish what we are doing.
