Our office is up on the first floor here at 4617 Sadar Bazar Main Road. If you know Pahari Dhiraj, you know how crowded it gets. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you're coming up. We’ve been in this spot for a good amount of time. It’s always noisy outside with the vendors and the rickshaws, but inside we just focus on the work. We handle different kinds of advertising stuff, mostly helping people get their names out there. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and checking designs on the screen. The walls are covered with old posters and some samples of things we’ve done before. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. Usually, you’ll just see one of us sitting at a desk covered in papers. Marketing is a busy job, especially in a place like Sadar Bazar where everything moves so fast. We spend a lot of time making sure the prints look right and the colors aren't off. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, chatting until the lights come back on. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and we take a break then. He knows exactly how we like it. The office itself is a bit cramped because we have boxes of paper everywhere. We tried to organize it last month, but then a big order came in and everything got messy again. That's just how it goes here and we just keep working through the stacks of orders.
