Varavastra India Private Limited is situated at 1884, Gali Leshwa, right in the middle of Sita Ram Bazar. This is deep in North Delhi, and the 110006 area is famous for its old buildings and tight streets. We work with clothes and fabrics. The office is quite small and often smells like old paper and new cloth. It is a very traditional place to do business. We don't have a polished showroom. Instead, we have shelves piled high with garments and textiles. Moving around the bazar can be difficult, especially when the crowds are thick. We have to be very organized to make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It is a family-style business where everyone helps out with everything. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just check the quality of the garments and send them out to the people who need them. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about how the market is changing. It is a slow and steady kind of life. We like being part of the history of Sita Ram Bazar. It is a tough place to work because of the heat and the noise, but it is where we belong. We just keep doing our work one day at a time.
