Om Lace Craft

Om Lace Craft is my small shop in Kinari Bazar, located at 2168. If you’ve ever walked through the narrow lanes of Kinari Bazar in Chandni Chowk, you know how packed it is with shops selling all kinds of wedding supplies, borders, and craft materials. My shop is one of those small spots where the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We have rolls of lace in every color and design you can imagine. It’s been a family business for a long time, and I took it over because it’s what I know how to do. The work involves a lot of sitting behind the counter and pulling down rolls of lace for customers to inspect closely. Kinari Bazar is always noisy, with people pushing past each other and the constant sound of bells and voices filling the air. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but I find the energy quite comforting. Our shop at 2168 doesn't have a lot of room to move around, especially when we have a few customers trying to match laces to their dress materials at the same time. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks or flashy displays. We just open up every day and do our best to help whoever comes in looking for something specific. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in an old part of the city.
