Vaishnavi Dryfruits Private Limited

Vaishnavi Dryfruits has been operating out of Gandhi Gali in Fatehpuri for a good while. Our shop is at 51/12, right in the heart of Old Delhi. If you know the area, you know it’s tight, crowded, and smells like spices and nuts everywhere. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and checking the stock of almonds, cashews, and whatever else came in on the trucks overnight. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and we don't really see a reason to change it. My father started this, and now I’m the one making sure the weights are right and the bags are packed properly. It’s loud out on the street, and there’s always someone shouting or a cart going by. We don't have a website that looks like a tech company; we just have our ledger and our regular customers. Central Delhi is a chaotic place to work, but it’s where all the action is for dry fruits. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish inventory, and the light in the alley is pretty dim. We just want to sell good products and not have too many headaches with the suppliers. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don't use big words to describe it. We just buy the nuts, clean them up, and sell them to whoever needs them. That’s our daily life here in Fatehpuri.
