T M A K Engineer is located on the first floor at 11 Samaipur in Prahladpur. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the steps are a little uneven, so you have to watch your feet. Being on the first floor means we can look down at the street and see all the trucks passing through. Samaipur is a heavy area with a lot of industrial activity, so there is always a layer of grit on the windows. We spend a lot of time looking at parts and trying to figure out how to fix things that have broken down. There is usually a smell of machine oil in the air that never really goes away, even after we wash our hands. We have some old desks and a few cabinets full of manuals and drawings that we have collected over the years. It is not the quietest place to work because of the workshops nearby, but we like the energy of it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the corner window, so we keep a bucket there just in case. It is just a regular engineering spot where we do our best with what we have. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. People usually find us by word of mouth or by seeing our name on the board downstairs. We keep our tools organized, but the rest of the office is a bit of a mess.
