You’ll find us out in Village Bakoli, near Gate No 693 at Khasra No 37 43. It’s quite a way out from the main city center, which actually works well for Sunstar Organic Foods Private Limited. Being closer to the fields makes sense for what we do. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the middle of Delhi, though the roads can get pretty muddy when it rains. We have a decent-sized space where we handle the food items. It’s mostly storage and basic processing. I spend a lot of my day talking to the local folks and checking the incoming stock. It’s a simple operation. We don't have fancy office furniture; mostly just sturdy tables and a lot of crates. My family helps out quite a bit, especially when things get busy during the peak months. The air feels a bit different out here in Bakoli, less of that city haze. We go through a lot of paperwork to keep track of everything, and sometimes it feels like we are buried in files. We don’t really do any big advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they see the trucks coming in and out of the gate. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a while now. The village dogs usually hang out by the entrance.
