Shubham Tex Prints LLP is based out of 25/122 in Shakti Nagar. North Delhi is a busy place, and our street is no exception to the noise. We do a lot of printing work on textiles, so there is always the smell of ink and the sound of machines in the background of our conversations. It is a practical setup for the work we do. We have been in this spot for some time now. The building is a regular one, nothing special to look at from the street, but it works for us. We started out small and just kept at it over the years. Some days the colors don't mix right or a machine breaks down, and we spend the whole afternoon trying to fix it ourselves with whatever tools we have. It's just part of the job. We don't have a big corporate office or a staff in suits. Usually, you will find us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dye or dust from the floor. Shakti Nagar is a good place to be because it is close to the other markets and transport. We get a lot of local walk-ins who want something specific printed for their own small projects. We just talk to them, figure out what they need, and get to work on the machines. It’s a simple life for us, nothing fancy, just keeping the prints moving every single day.
