Being in Chandni Chowk means you’re always in the middle of a crowd. Romi Textiles Private Limited is located at 4139 Nai Sarak, and if you know this area, you know how packed it gets every single day. We spend most of our day surrounded by rolls of fabric and people walking past the shop. Nai Sarak is famous for books and clothes, so there’s never a quiet moment from morning until night. Our space is tucked into the lanes here in North Delhi. It’s an old building, like most things in this part of the city, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of textile stuff, and the days go by really fast when the market is in full swing. Sometimes the heat in the summer is a lot to handle, but we have some old fans going to keep us moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s more about the shelves being full and the orders getting packed up correctly. Working in 110006 means dealing with narrow streets and lots of rickshaws blocking the way. We’ve been operating from this spot for some time now. It's just a regular textile business. We know the other shop owners around here, and everyone just does their own thing. You won't find anything too polished here, just a lot of hard work and stacks of cloth everywhere. It’s the kind of place where we drink a lot of chai while checking the stock and talking to the helpers.
