Punjab Chicken Mutton Fish Shop

Our shop is a bit unusual because we are up on the 3rd floor at 308-A in East of Kailash. Most meat shops stay on the ground floor, but we’ve made it work here. You have to walk up the stairs, which keeps us in good shape I suppose. We handle chicken, mutton, and fish. It’s a lot to manage in one space, so we have to be very careful about keeping everything separate and clean. The floors get washed down multiple times a day. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just a family-run spot where we do the butchery ourselves. East of Kailash is a nice area, and we have a lot of regulars who don’t mind the climb to the third floor. We spend a lot of our time prepping the orders that people call in. It’s quieter up here than it would be on the street, which is nice sometimes. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s all very functional. We’ve got the scales, the blocks, and the sinks. Sometimes the delivery guy grumbles about the stairs, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been in this building for a while now and we know all the neighbors. We aren't looking to expand or do anything crazy. We just want to keep providing meat to the people around here like we’ve been doing for years. We usually wrap things up by early evening before it gets too dark for people to comfortably walk the stairwell.
