Profile Engineering Tools

Profile Engineering Tools is located at T-399 in Bara Hindu Rao, on Chamelian Road. If you know where Filmistan Cinema is, we are just behind it. This part of the city is very old and the streets are incredibly narrow and busy. Our shop is a small, traditional space packed with all kinds of engineering tools. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, and we often have to climb around to find the right item. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We don’t have any modern air conditioning or bright displays. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things, with handwritten receipts and a lot of personal interaction. Most of our customers have been coming to us for decades. They come by for a chat and a cup of tea as much as they do for the tools. We don't do any advertising. Word of mouth in this neighborhood is how everyone finds us. The noise from the street is constant—horns, people shouting, and the general bustle of the market. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We like it here, though. There is a lot of history in these walls and in the streets outside. We aren't looking to expand or become some big corporate entity. We just want to keep serving the people who know us and keep the shop running like it always has. Every day is a bit of a struggle with the crowd, but we manage.
