Printing Waves

Down in Sector 4 of Rohini, specifically at B 30 in Vijay Vihar, you’ll find us. This part of Rohini is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs, which suits us just fine. We’ve been operating out of this small unit for several years now. It’s mostly a ground-floor space where we keep our printing equipment and a few desks for the paperwork. During the summer, it gets pretty hot inside, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day long. We started out with just one machine and slowly added a few more as the years went by. Most of our regulars are folks from the nearby blocks who need things done for their small businesses or home projects. We don’t really do any big advertising; people just sort of find us through word of mouth or by walking past the sign on the street. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes in, and the only light on the block is coming from our front window. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like the routine of opening up in the morning and seeing who stops by. There’s a tea stall at the corner where we usually get our morning fix, and that’s pretty much the highlight of the day before the machines start humming. It’s just a normal local business trying to stay busy.
