Pramod Dairy

Pramod Dairy is located at number 20 in the Fatehpuri area of Chandni Chowk. Being in this part of Old Delhi means we are always surrounded by people and noise from the moment we open. We get started very early in the morning, usually while it is still dark outside, to receive the milk shipments. It is cold and damp work, and our boots are always wet from washing down the floors. We do not have a big office or any fancy equipment. It is just a few large fridges and some metal counters. We have been in this building for many years, and you can see the age in the cracks on the walls. People from the nearby streets come in every day for their milk and curd. We know most of them by name, and we usually have their order ready before they even reach the counter. It is a very basic operation. We do not have a website or any social media pages. We just rely on the fact that people need dairy every day and they know where to find us. Sometimes the narrow lanes of Fatehpuri make it hard for the supply trucks to reach us, but we always find a way to make it work. It is a long day of lifting heavy crates, but it is what we know how to do. There is no point in complicating things.
