Prakash Gare

Our spot is in the Police Colony over in Model Town II. It’s a decent area in Delhi with plenty of trees and a bit of history. Prakash Gare is the one in charge of the operations here at number 39-I. It is mostly a residential-style setup, so it doesn't feel like those cold glass buildings you see in the city center. We spend our days managing various tasks from a small room that gets a lot of sunlight in the mornings. There’s always someone coming by with a question or a delivery. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the work gets finished on time. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most days, though it can get a bit frantic when deadlines approach. We often hear the kids playing outside in the colony or the sound of someone’s car pulling into a driveway. It feels like a real community. We’ve set up our desks where we could find space. There’s a lot of paperwork, as you might expect, but we keep it organized in our own way. It might not look like much to a stranger, but it’s where we spend most of our hours. We like it because it’s simple. Prakash is usually busy with something, but there is always a stool or a chair for anyone who drops by.
