Popular Cards & Arts is tucked away in Chawri Bazar at Chatte Wali, number 3942. This part of the city is always moving, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We deal with all sorts of cards and artistic paper. You might have to navigate some narrow alleys to find us, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals can point you in the right direction. Inside, it smells like old paper and ink, which is something we’ve grown to love. We have stacks of samples everywhere, and we spend a lot of time showing different textures and colors to people who are planning big family events. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of looking through books. We aren't interested in being a big corporation. We just like the craft of it. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend the afternoon tinkering with it, or a shipment arrives late and we stay a bit longer to get everything sorted. The walls are covered in old samples from years ago. It’s a bit messy, but it’s a working shop. We don't have a receptionist; if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us behind the counter with ink on our hands. It is just the way we do things here in the bazaar. It's busy but it's our place and we fit in fine.
