Our little spot is at Ug 12 in Vishwa Sadan, which is part of the District Centre in Janakpuri. Being so close to Satyam Cinema means there are always crowds around, especially in the evenings when the movies let out. We are on the upper ground floor, so it’s easy to walk in off the street. The shop is filled with computer monitors, scraps of vinyl, and stacks of design books. It’s a bit cluttered, honestly. We spend most of our time staring at screens or cutting out letters for signs. There’s usually a radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet while we work. We aren't some big advertising agency; we’re just a small shop where people come when they need something designed or printed. Sometimes the printer runs out of yellow ink right when we’re in a hurry, which is always frustrating. We have a couple of old chairs for customers to sit on while they wait for us to finish a layout. The walls are covered in samples of things we’ve done before, some of which are getting a bit faded now. It’s a busy environment with people coming in and out all day. We try to keep up with the pace of Janakpuri, though it gets tiring sometimes. We just do our work, chat with the regulars, and try to get the colors to match what people see on the computer screen.
