Pawan Masala Co

We are located at Gaushala Marg, specifically in Masjid Gali at 134/135. It is a crowded spot but we have been here for quite some time now. Most mornings at Pawan Masala Co start with the heavy smell of ground turmeric and red chillies. It hits you as soon as you turn the corner into the lane. We spend our time weighing out bags and dealing with the dust that comes from the grinders. The machines are old and they make a lot of noise, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. It is just a few of us working here. We handle the whole process from the raw spices to the final bags that people take home. The floor is usually covered in some kind of yellow or red powder by noon. We don't have a big office or anything fancy like that. Just the shop and the storage area. People from around the masjid come by to get what they need for their kitchens. Sometimes the trucks blocking the gali make it hard to get things in and out, but we manage. It gets very hot in the summer months with the machines running. We just open the doors and keep working. There is always a lot to do, especially when a big order comes in. We don't really have a lot of time for sitting around. Every day is pretty much the same routine for us.
