Mayura Creations

You can find us at No. 257 in Pocket 6 of Rohini Sector 2. It is a more residential side of the area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We have been here for a while, working out of this space. Mayura Creations is basically just a few of us who like making things. We don't have a big corporate setup. The front door is usually open if the weather is nice, and you can hear the local sounds of the neighborhood. Inside, it's mostly tables and shelves filled with whatever we are working on that week. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff that works. The day usually starts early before it gets too hot. We spend a lot of time just checking the details on whatever project is on the table. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s already dark outside. Rohini has changed a lot since we started, but this pocket stays mostly the same. We don’t really go out and look for attention. We just do the work and hope people like what they get. It’s a simple way to run a business. There is always a lot of cleaning up to do at the end of the shift because stuff gets everywhere. We just lock up and come back the next morning to do it all over again with the same small team.
