Jagdamba Clinic

You’ll find Jagdamba Clinic over in Alipur, right at the main Subhash Chowk in Bakhtawarpur Alipur. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s always plenty of activity right outside our door. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The clinic itself is pretty basic. We have a small exam room and a place for people to wait. It gets hot in the summer because the sun hits the front of the building, but we have a cooler that helps. The floor is made of old stone, and it stays relatively cool. Most of the people who come here are from the local area. We see a lot of people who work in the nearby shops. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy reception desk. Usually, one of us just sits at a table near the entrance. We have a lot of files stacked up, and sometimes it's a bit of a hunt to find what we need. Life around Subhash Chowk is always moving fast, but inside the clinic, we try to take things one person at a time. We don't have any big marketing brochures or things like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We just do our work and try to help out with whatever health problems people bring in. It’s a small, local operation, and we like it that way. The clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but we leave it like that because it keeps us on our toes.
